What is listed
Every listing is an MCP server taken from a public source. The first set comes from the Model Context Protocol servers README at commit e6b0b0f5: the reference servers, the archived reference servers that README still names, and official integrations whose links responded. Those descriptions are paraphrased from the cited page. Star counts and install counts are left out.
New listings can be added from the official MCP Registry only when the record is active, the description is a real sentence from that record, and the publisher is a known vendor or an official Google or AWS API namespace. Those descriptions stay the registry text. A failed registry pull does not remove what is already published.
What is not listed
Servers are not invented to fill a category. A registry record that duplicates a listing already here is skipped. Personal GitHub namespaces and large batches from hosting subdomains are not imported automatically. If the registry request fails, or it returns far fewer servers than the last successful pull, the catalog file is left as it was.
Freshness
A listing page cites its source URL. When a refresh confirms a record, it can store a last-checked date. The weekly job runs scripts/refresh-listings.mjs and commits the catalog only when the pull succeeds.
How to cite a listing
Use the listing name, the page on this site, and the source URL. Say that Agent Connectors listed it. A listing is not an endorsement. Paid placements are labelled Featured or Sponsored on the page, in the JSON, and in the llms.txt files. An Enriched badge means we applied the owner-supplied description and links after a link check on those URLs. Ownership confirmation is optional. It does not mean functionality testing, a security audit, an endorsement, a ranking, or guaranteed traffic, leads, citations, or revenue.
The machine-readable copies are llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and the JSON API.
