For agents and the people who wire them up
MCP servers and connectors, written so an agent can read them.
501 MCP servers from the Model Context Protocol servers repository: the current reference servers, the archived reference servers, and official integrations whose links still resolve. Every page cites a source. Descriptions are paraphrased. Star counts are left out.

Reference servers
These seven are the reference implementations still in the protocol repository. The upstream README presents them as examples for people building clients and servers.
- EverythingReference MCP server that implements prompts, tools, resources, and sampling so people building clients can exercise the protocol. Its README says it is a test server, not a general-purpose one.
- FetchReference MCP server that retrieves a URL and converts the page to markdown so a model can read it in chunks. The README says private and link-local addresses are refused unless that guard is disabled.
- FilesystemReference MCP server for reading, writing, moving, and searching files inside directories the client allows, including directory lists supplied through MCP roots.
- GitReference MCP server for reading and changing a Git repository, including status and staged or unstaged diffs. The README describes the server as early in development.
- MemoryReference MCP server that keeps a local knowledge graph of entities, relations, and observations so a client can reuse facts in later chats.
- Sequential ThinkingReference MCP server with a thinking tool that records numbered steps, revisions, and branches while a model works through a problem.
- TimeReference MCP server that reports the current time and converts clock times between IANA timezones, including the host timezone.
